Looking for a unique and creative experience? Join us as we delve into the world of wet felting using Merino fibers to bring your landscapes to life. Guided by Margaret Mackie, you will learn how to create stunning, textured pieces that echo the beauty of nature.
In our first session, you will explore the technique of wet felting, laying the groundwork for your landscape artwork. In the second session, we will transition to needle felting and embroidery, where you can add intricate details to your landscape. This is where your vision truly comes to life, as you’ll texture and embellish your work, giving it a dynamic and personalized touch.
No prior experience is needed, and all materials are provided. You're welcome to bring a photo of your favorite flower for inspiration, or choose from a variety of images we’ll have on hand. This class is open to ages 12 and up, and you're encouraged to bring snacks or drinks to enjoy while you create in a relaxed, supportive environment. Art is for everyone — if the class fee feels out of reach, I’m happy to offer a sliding scale or discount.
