Refresh your cotton shirts or pillowcases and learn how to make an organic indigo dye with the 123 method. No toxic chemicals, only fructose crystals and lime (like you put on your lawn) make this beautiful blue dye active. You can bring two cotton shirts or two cotton pillowcases to dye. We can use rubber bands and folding techniques to add design. Your shirts can be lightly colored and the blue with overdye, so yellow would become green, etc. You can even cover stains and make your clothing new again!
(Ages 9 & up)
Feel free to bring food and drinks if you wish, we have reverse osmosis water and a large tea selection for you. If you get a ticket and you can't come for any reason you are always welcome to come to another class, if you are sick please don't come and share with everyone, you can message us for a make up class. We want our classes to be affordable for everyone, unsold spaces will be offered at half off 2 days before class, you can call 907-341-9001 to check if a class is full and reserve your space.
